This intense three-day course covers advanced techniques, paramedical applications, and step-by-step instructions for areola and camouflage procedures. Lectures also include color theory, color correction, and tips for eliminating time and touch-ups. Business building and marketing techniques, as well as working with physicians are also popular topics. A certified Red Cross Instructor will discuss vital information about managing the potential exposure to an infectious disease in the workplace. This training course teaches you what Bloodborne pathogens are; how they are transmitted; how to protect yourself and your clients. Bloodborne pathogens training is required for all personnel who work with human blood, blood products, human tissues, fluids, or cells that are considered as “other” potentially infectious materials. Course contains lecture, training manual and certification.

Consider attending Tuesday evening during the Basic Course. If you are a practicing permanent cosmetic technician most states require this certification. Bloodborne Pathogen Certification is also a prerequisite for many AIIC Courses.

This class addresses the science behind clinical skin care. For thousands of years, women have used a range of substances from sour milk to fermented grapes to improve their complexions. Today, we still use derivatives of these products to exfoliate the outer layers of skin and improve its appearance. This class will distinguish the chemical differences between alpha-hydroxy and beta-hydroxy acids, retinoids, and various vitamin combinations for healthy skin. This class is a great introduction to the art of body tattooing. An AIIC certified instructor will introduce the fundamentals of body art. You will learn all about stencils, how to make and apply them, customize free hand techniques, and proper placement. Techniques taught in the Basic Body Art class include lining, pointillism, and several types of shading techniques.  You will also learn all about the coil machine, how it works, proper tuning, troubleshooting, and needle configurations for lining and shading. This class contains lecture on customer considerations, post procedure instructions, shading, and color-blending techniques, healing, scar prevention and more. This fun and exciting two-day class includes lecture, demonstrations, manual, certificate and hands-on training.

An AIIC certified instructor will teach the fundamentals of the art of body piercing, the history of various piercing applications, their origins and cultural ties to the past. This class is an intensive course designed to provide individuals with basic skills necessary before undertaking a piercing apprenticeship. It is an introduction to the tools of the piercing profession such as needle preparation, determining appropriate jewelry through knowledge of metallurgy, and the piercing to be performed. The class will also cover proper sterilization techniques, infection
control strategies, interpersonal skills and problem solving.

Prerequisites; Blood Bourne Pathogens Certification.

The Masters Certification Program allows you to demonstrate and document your skill and experience as a permanent cosmetic technician. The Masters Certification provides you with industry recognized credentials that show you are an esthetic and technical leader in the field of permanent cosmetics. Candidates for the AIIC Masters Certification Exam are required to perform an actual procedure in the practical portion of the board exam. The hands-on demonstration of your skill is unique in the industry and affords your customers confidence that you are truly qualified to perform procedures. Our certification allows you to maintain your independent status in the permanent cosmetic field. No dues, textbooks, purchases or annual membership are required to maintain the certification.
